We are now buying SPRING clothing!  We are especially looking for:

• Name-brand, school-appropriate clothing in sizes 4 to 14

• Spring-themed outfits in infant through size 3  

• Easter suits and dresses

• Casual and dressy footwear        

• DVD's 

• Pack & Play's              

 HOW IT WORKS:

• We pay cash for your children's items in like-new condition!
• Bring your gently-used children's items in during our walk-in hours
• We can look at up to two bins or baskets per visit
• Your items will be appraised by our state-of-the-art computer system
• Choose cash on the spot, or 20% more in store credit for the items we are able to buy 

BUYING GUIDELINES

• Current style clothing, preemie through size 14, in like-new condition
• Current style maternity clothing (generally purchased new within the past 2 years).  Maternity brands.
• Clothing items should be freshly laundered, and laid flat in a bin or basket
• Please put outfit parts together (we pay more for outfits!)
• All items should be free of stains, holes, odors, pet hair, etc.
• Equipment items should be clean, complete (all parts), and meet all current safety standards
• We are able to purchase toys manufactured in 2005 or more recently, manufactured by the following companies:

    • Chicco
    • Leap Frog

    • VTech

• All items must be free of recall 

• This location no longer carries cribs

• Manufacturer's information must be intact (serial number is generally found on a sticker or tag on the item) 

• Our recall database is updated daily and we check every equipment item against the CPSC database prior to purchasing it.

IN THE NEWS

We are unable to purchase many toys at this time.  The CPSIA of 2008 has defined strict new safety standards for all children's items, primarily (but not exclusively) toys.  We are working diligently to adhere to the new federal standards and ensure that the toys for sale in our store have been properly tested for compliance with these new standards.  As always, we are 100% committed to the safety of your children and will continue to bring you great deals on the best and safest things that kids outgrow! 

While Kid to Kid is known for its wide selection of gently pre-owned merchandise, did you know that we also carry many new items?  ALL of our new product items are certified by the manufacturer as compliant with strict new CPSIA safety standards.  A few examples are...

RECALL INFORMATION

We realize that it can be difficult to keep up with product recalls, and want you to know that we receive recall notifications daily from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.  All incoming items are reviewed for recall in order to ensure the safety of our customers and their children!  Shop and sell to us with confidence!   For more information on children's product recalls, please go to http://www.cpsc.gov/.  

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CARSEATS

We are only able to purchase carseats which meet the following requirements:

• All carseats must have the instruction manual.
• Any infant carseat (carrier-style) must be less than 4 years old, include the original head support, base, and LATCH strap
• Convertible and toddler carseats must be less than 6 years old.
• All manufacturer safety and instruction stickers must be present and intact.
• We may only purchase a carseat from the original owner, who must certify that the carseat has never been involved in any type of collision.
• All carseats will be rigorously inspected for any visible signs of warping, fraying of straps, or excessive wear which may affect the safety of the carseat.
• All carseats must be free of recall and will be checked against the NHTSA database.  http://www.nhtsa.gov/
